Shanqa’s mission is to promote spiritual art & artists whose works open our heart and mind and radiate their power of wonder and harmonization. Our space is a way to fulfil this mission: welcoming artists, opening a place for them to deepen their connection to their own creativity, supporting them in this process according to their needs and at their request, organising events opened to public (concert, exhibition, festival, workshops), on the venue itself or outside. A space to isolate oneself, to find (back) oneself, to grow. A place to expand the power of Art to connect to the true Nature of our Being and with harmony, serenity and joy.

Devang House welcomes you to its “Expat Night” in collaboration with the Delhi Network, US Embassy, UK and Australian High Commission CLOs. This event includes: organic Farmers Market, organic Bakery, organic Dining, organic Dips & Sauces, Lifestyle Products, Cold pressed Juices & Smoothies, Art & Music for all ages.

Staying true to its mission of showcasing independent film, the Arizona International Film Festival has exhibited over 2,500 films representing 90 countries to over 148,000 patrons in southern Arizona. The selection offer innovative films from around the world for Arizona audiences. The Selection Committee’s selection of films for 2016 includes 30 features and 58 shorts from 25 countries for screening at this 25th Arizona International Film Festival.
West Empire is part of the selection and his film is projected the 24th Of April.

There are data and studies showing the huge impact and increase the tourist flow to places that served as the backdrop to major film productions. The Finisterra Arrábida Film Art and Tourism Festival aims to promote these sites for major film productions, showing the world “our” tourist potential, strengthening the international image of Arrábida, Sesimbra and Cape Espichel.
At the core of this festival is the conference “Tourism and Cinema” which is believed that its an opportunity for development and promotion of research on the link between film and tourism.

Mathieu Le Lay has been selected by la Maison des Scénaristes for Cannes Festival authors and producers meeting. He is presenting his first full-length feature film to the producers who are presents in Cannes during this gathering organized by “La Maison des scénaristes”.

Over three days, WIDF is drawing independent filmmakers, industry experts and international audiences to Blackwood, Wales. Over 50 films are screening during the festival and networking events, masterclasses, training programmes are also hosted. WIDF celebrates the best in documentary filmmaking over the last year, from creative feature-docs to online short-docs. Mathieu Le Lay is one of the selected artist for his “West Empire”.

High Desert International Film Festival celebrates unique vision and creativity by providing a showcase for both veteran filmmakers and budding talent at home and abroad. The 10th season of the High Desert International Film Festival, recommended highly by their peers and by film schools and film offices internationally, is hosting filmmakers from around the world.
Film categories in competition for 2016 include animation, comedy, drama and horror/science fiction. Prizes will be awarded to the films selected best in each of these categories by a qualified panel of judges. Mathieu Le Lay’s West Empire is part of the competition. Here is the official trailer.

Davide Swarup’s hang music is a stairway to heaven, a place where the mind stops and finds inner peace. The beauty of the hang brings the audience in the present moment, here and now, and there is nothing else than the music. Davide gives not just a musical experience but, as he explains, “an opportunity to learn something more about themselves”.
For this dynamic meditation inspired by Indian Master Osho, he starts with 30 minutes dance celebration to ease body and mind and goes on playing hang. The melody brings you closer to yourself, closer to Silence. To quote Osho:
“Just put the human mind aside. And by that, I mean, put the past aside and the future, and look. This very moment… and the whole of heaven descends upon you”.

This session is a meditation guided by the very inspired hang player Davide Swarup. He conducts people to release tension and reconnect with a higher sense of Being, through deep listening. The hangpan has healing properties and vibrations which help the mind to let go and the body to relax. Listening is also a strong experience of opening oneself, of putting behind the mental process and eventually of recovering inner peace.
As Davide says, dynamic meditation is « not just a “musical” experience, but also an opportunity to learn something more about ourselves ».
The immediate benefit of this session is to reconnect oneself with the present. The sound in silence meditation is a chance to dive into the world of the magic sounds of the Hang, to explore one’s inner being, to spend some time with oneself in the time being only. The magical sound of hang brings about peace and tranquillity into the body as well as the mind.
