Meet Carolline Auclair

This session is a meditation guided by the very inspired hang player Davide Swarup. He conducts people to release tension and reconnect with a higher sense of Being, through deep listening. The hangpan has healing properties and vibrations which help the mind to let go and the body to relax. Listening is also a strong experience of opening oneself, of putting behind the mental process and eventually of recovering inner peace.
As Davide says, dynamic meditation is « not just a “musical” experience, but also an opportunity to learn something more about ourselves ».
The immediate benefit of this session is to reconnect oneself with the present. The sound in silence meditation is a chance to dive into the world of the magic sounds of the Hang, to explore one’s inner being, to spend some time with oneself in the time being only. The magical sound of hang brings about peace and tranquillity into the body as well as the mind.

Twenty new artworks, painted in 2016, are exhibited for the very first time.

“Arambolla” is a collaboration between Davide Swarup, a world star and the pioneer of the hang drum since 2005 and Erich Lehna, a German guitarist, with flute player Fatima Gozlan, percutionnist Israël Diaz and bassist Nahdi Lazar. Their music is an acoustic fusion style. These five talented musicians, highly inspired by Indian culture, blend jazz, improvisation, rhythms and melodies of the Indian music, to enhance a sense of Universal harmony and celebrates the beauty of life.

The association presents 100 artists, among André Bongibault, Tatjana Labossiere, and Alain Guillon. The exhibition is a wonderful chance to discover Alain Guillon’s vision on Water and Air.
On 5th of February, (“Karakori Ai”) is giving a dance performance.
« Layer by layer, I have tried to remove myself from myself. My art has greatly helped in this. An internal process of restructuring, adding and eliminating all the layers which constitute me. My being, thoughts, experiences, memories, philosophies, spirituality, heart, mind, body, face, texture of skin…. everything peeled layer by layer to reach the source of light within. And through this all, that voice has guided me through. But why should I do this? The bliss of creation is absolute and there is no need to complicate it by these layers. This needs to be done, because a journey outside is now as important as the journey inside. Because things need to be said now. And with the use of fuzzy grammar, I have to channel outwards, the source of colours on my canvas, through my canvas. That is where I am now ».
– Tarun Sharma
The canvas is blank as well as the painter’s state of mind before he starts the creative process. It is all about clearing out every thought and let the Now be, move and manifest through the shapes. With acrylic, the artist has to be fully aware: no going back, no correction, no adjustment. The gesture becomes a flow and this very fluidity embodies the special quality of being here and now. In that sense, Art is a way of living. Tarun Sharma opens for us a path through the flow of Life, which comes to us and has to be welcomed with awareness, gratitude and respect. As each color, shape and movement is highly respected, enhanced and worshiped in the process of creation, these paintings offer the viewers a unique chance to (re)connect with the Present, its shapes, its flow.
The opening is blessed with a sitar recital by Sri Prasenjit Ray. See you on Friday 17th of February, 4.30pm.

Naad Nidra offers you a lying down concert experience: an immersive feeling of listening to music while lying on your Yoga mat. Close your eyes and tune in to the sound. Glenn Louvet is a sitarist, percussionist and throat singer. His love for Indian music brought him to New Delhi, where he teaches both music and Yoga for over a decade. Suchet Malhotra is a multi-percussionist and music producer with a vast library of percussion and wind, ambient sounds, and native instruments. Together, the two musicians started performing in 2004, debuting at the Embassy of France’s World Music Day celebrations at the Garden of Five Senses. Since then, they have performed at concert spaces and live stages all over India in duo and as members of the percussion ensemble Temple of Drum. Notable appearances include the Delhi & German Government’s Yamuna-Elbe initiative by the banks of the river Yamuna, a performance on “Lost Traditions” by Katha at the India Habitat Centre and at the Peace One Day Festival in New Delhi.
Both bring sensitivity, a wide repertoire and a love for harmony and silence; together then, their music becomes compelling, engaging and effortlessly listenable. There is depth, but also humour. There is virtuosity, but also space. With over a decade of playing together, the two friends blend their music together like it was just meant to be. Enjoy the now while taking in this concert lying down so you can relax completely, and immerse yourself in the music and the experience.
